The Bedford Lights Switch-On will take place on November 21 at Harpur Square, featuring performances by local choirs and a light display activated by Mayor Tom Wootton. Attendees can also enjoy free Christmas films and activities such as face painting and colouring.
Following this, the Kempston Lights Switch-On is scheduled for November 29 at the Saxon Centre, with craft stalls, food, live entertainment, and children’s rides. The Bedford Christmas Market and the inaugural Bedford Christmas Art Fair will be held in early December, showcasing local artisans and artists.
