Alison Wilkerson, a dog groomer and pet photographer from Stagsden, has produced a second charity calendar featuring volunteers who posed nude to raise funds for women's health causes. The calendar supports Bedford Women’s Refuge, Bosom Pals Bedford, and Keech Hospice, following the success of a previous calendar benefiting men’s health charities.
The photoshoot took place in various local settings, including kitchens, woods, and with animals, aiming to raise awareness and funds through a creative and community-driven approach. Alison, who runs Paw Traits Pet Grooming and Photography, is also an author and a finalist in the UK Small Business Awards for Best Community Contribution in 2026.
Calendars are available for a suggested donation of £10 plus postage and packaging, with sales supporting multiple local charities. This initiative highlights community engagement and charitable fundraising through innovative local projects.
