Bedford College Group celebrates T Level success and WorldSkills finalists

The Bedford College Group, encompassing campuses across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, is celebrating significant achievements this term, including exceptional national T Level performance and three students qualifying for the WorldSkills UK National Finals 2026. T Levels, equivalent to three A Levels, combine 80% classroom learning with at least 315 hours of industry placement, providing students with practical skills and workplace experience. The Group has expanded its network to 500 employer partners, enhancing opportunities for students to gain real-world experience.

Three students—Jak Henson and Grzegorz Romanowski from Tresham College, and Gabriel Bartiromo from Bedford College—have secured places in the prestigious WorldSkills UK National Finals, to be held in Swansea in November. Gabriel Bartiromo qualified for the Additive Manufacturing final after completing an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and excelling in 3D modelling and practical challenges. The Group's leadership highlighted these successes as evidence of the value of combining teaching with industry experience in preparing students for skilled careers.
